Client is looking for an experienced and well versed Application Support Engineer to join a fast paced and growing infrastructure team. This team is responsible for implementing, configuring, installing, and troubleshooting large third party applications for the larger organization.
The current opening requires a candidate who has experience supporting with QRM or Kofax in a production environment. QRM is a risk assessment tool and the right candidate will have experience installing, configuring, and supporting QRM from an IT perspective, not just as a user. He or she will be taking tickets related to QRM from US and Mexico.
The candidate will also be supporting Kofax, a scanning and imaging tool within the organization. Kofax is an engine for defining work flows and actions for all scanned documents within the bank. He or she will also need to be able to install, configure, and troubleshoot Kofax issues.
Any previous scripting or development skills would be great, however it is most important that the candidate understands a Windows middleware environment and technologies, application support, and a high availability/clustered enterprise environment.
The candidate will also be required to document his or her troubleshooting steps for Tier 1 so that he will not need to escalate calls if not necessary.
The candidate will be working in an ITIL environment, with specialized teams spread across different geographical locations with which he will need to communicate and/or coordinate technical needs for a given situation.
Required Skills:
- 4
years of experience supporting QRM or Kofax
- Great documentation skills
- Application support experience or previous development/scripting
- Spanish written and spoken comprehension, English native language
