2018 Summer Camp opportunities - Jr Counselor

The Brookline Recreation department is seeking qualified, energetic, and compassionate candidates for the 2018 summer camp season. The Summer Camp program will run from July 2, 2018 to August 17, 2018 at Brookline High School, Lawrence Elementary, or Runkle Elementary School. Previous experience with camp programming and a background in working with children with disabilities is desired. Hourly rates are based on camp position. Please identify your position of interest when submitted your resume and cover letter.
COUNSELOR EXTENDED
M-F 8:15am to 6:00pm, Must be minimum 18 years old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment. Assist Extended Day Lead in supervision and management of campers during camps PM Extended Day hours
PARTNERS COUNSELOR
M-F: 11:45am to 6:00pm. Must be minimum 16 years old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment. Assist Extended Day Lead in supervision and management of campers during camps PM Extended Day hours
JR. COUNSELOR
M-F 8:15am to 4:00pm, Must be minimum 16 years old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment
JR. COUNSELOR EXTENDED

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
