Expressive Therapist - Movement / Drama

Job Description HRI Hospital is seeking an Expressive Movement Therapist for our inpatient psychiatric units. This is a highly satisfying opportunity for a clinical professional who thrives on providing highly individualized care to a very acute patient population. This is a part time position, with available hours ranging from 15 hours to 20 hours weekly. In addition, there may be opportunities to work beyond 20 hours per week. As an Expressive Movement Therapist, you will: Run assigned treatment groups to meet the need of various functioning level and/or diagnostic categories Utilize interviewing techniques, observations, formal and informal screening/evaluation tools to assess functional level of patients Identify patients' assets and problem areas Collaborate with patients in goal-setting Recommend appropriate activities for goal attainment and assist patients to select appropriate groups and activities Complete daily notes for each group About Us HRI Hospital is 62-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. Six months prior experience as a group leader preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
