Highlights about the Organization Seeking a Leasing Staff Accountant: o The company we are working with provides expert and compassionate care to people of all ages while advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and cure for the prevention of cancer and related diseases o This organization is very mission-driven and needs someone who is passionate about the numbers as well as the lives behind the numbers o This company is expanding into two new locations in the next few months and is looking for someone to grow with their team and promote over time o They pride themselves of their pursue for excellence with integrity and adhering to the highest standards The Leasing Staff Accountants responsibilities include but are not limited to: o The Leasing Staff Accountant position is responsible for numerous general accounting functions that involve preparation, analysis, reconsolidation, and maintenance of the general accounting records o Assist in the development, implementation and operation of systems, including the new Lease Accounting system to support the activities and goals of Financial Operations o Prepare sub-system reconciliations and Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyses, as required, to support the monthly general ledger closing process o Responsible for monitoring and maintaining DFCI's Project Costing (PC) and Asset Management (AM) modules of PeopleSoft Financials o Plan, execute, and document a number of equipment inventories annually o Responsible for providing detailed reconciliations and analyses for assigned duties and special projects o Assist the manager in supporting the Insurance program, including the renewal process and providing certificates of Insurance as requested Qualifications for the Leasing Staff Accountant Role: o Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in accounting / healthcare preferred o Bachelors degree, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field o Experience in leasing or real estate o Technical and professional accounting skills required
