Manager, Data Quality at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Brookline, MA

Reporting to the Director of ODQ, the Data Quality Manager oversees the Data Quality Analyst team that supports the accurate and timely capture of case report form data on DF/HCC Investigator-initiated clinical trials. The Data Quality Manager works closely with research informatics, biostatistics, CTO monitors, investigators, research staff and other ODQ teams to provide a comprehensive approach to overall data quality. Requirements Manage, support and train ODQ Data Quality Analysts Manage data imports and updates ODQ's Quickbase application Triage incoming data requests in Quickbase; prioritize, track timelines, escalate when appropriate, and provide turn-around time and volume metrics to the ODQ director Implement effective, efficient, and proactive quality control processes for monitoring accuracy and completeness of clinical trial case report form data Run regular reports to assess data compliance across the DF/HCC cancer center and communicate out of compliance protocols to institutional clinical trials offices and research staff as appropriate Coordinate with other ODQ staff to help resolve data compliance issues for DSMB/DSMC reviews Enhance and foster open communication and collaboration with the research informatics, CTO monitors and biostatistics Take a leadership role in the ODQ with an eye towards constant process improvement Ensure confidentiality of research data as well as human resource information for ODQ personnel SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises 4 - 5 Data Quality Analysts. The Data Quality Manager will have the following authority for decision-making: Human resource issues for direct reports (in consult with the Director of ODQ) Delegation and oversight of projects to direct reports Input into department leadership decisions PATIENT CONTACT: None SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical office environment May require availability for meetings and projects outside of business hours, when necessary Qualifications MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or field related to clinical research; Master's degree preferred 5 years' experience in clinical trials; oncology experience preferred 2 years' experience supervising projects and/or staff KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Strong understanding of clinical trial quality control and quality assurance processes. Knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements and best practices (e.g., CFR, GCP, HIPAA) surrounding human subject research, the conduct of clinical trials and the collection and use of clinical trial data. Exceptional communication, listening, consensus building, and leadership skills. Highly effective interpersonal skills, with a sensitivity to and an understanding of complex operational issues that must be addressed when part of a multi-institution cancer center Collaborative and customer service-oriented approach to problem solving; a team player Individuals who enjoy working with and supporting extraordinary staff and who are comfortable dealing with other leaders in a selfless manner Individuals with excellent credibility, integrity and judgment; a style that is methodical, flexible, stable and confident Individuals who enjoy process improvement and who are able to understand and break down complex processes and systems to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and compliance.Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum QualificationAllied Health Professionals, Healthcare Management

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
