Dental Assistant - 1 Year Experience

Quick Apply Full-time Full Job Description Seeking a licensed dental assistant who is personable, reliable and a team player. You will ensure excellent customer service and become an integral part of the assisting team. The position will be assisting with direct and indirect patient care. Responsibilities Welcome patients into the clinical side of the dental office Prepare patients for surgical/non-surgical treatment ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and pre/post-operative care instructions Maintain a sterile and well stocked operatory Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient paper and electronic medical records Skills Proven experience as a dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks (x-rays, re-cements, etc) Solid computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; Current MA Dental Assisting License Additional certification or training from Dental Assisting Program a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift COVID-19 considerations: In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, our office is equipped with full PPE, air purification systems, patient and employee daily screening, increased appt. times to allow for fogging between patients and the use of disposable products whenever possible. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
